He was born in Terlingua and grew up in Lajitas. As an adult he lived in Pecos, Monahans, and Odessa
He worked as an automobile body mechanic. He died in Irving, TX in April 2003.
He had six children apparently from a previous marriage when he married Maria del Carmen; and they had one child.
At his request, his body was cremated and his ashes were spread in Lajitas.
