Documented Research Reports
Francisco Briceño - Documented Research Report
Version 2; March 09, 2010 by Bob Wirt and Louisa Madrid |
Good research is demanding work requiring persistence, intellectual effort and an investment of time, money, and other resources by the researcher; so it is not churned out on a schedule like newspaper articles. With that in mind we will occasionally publish works of research based on verified, authoritative documentation that report on Old Terlingua culture, places, or families submitted by those of our readers who are dedicated researchers as well as other sources.
Although history does not change, our knowledge of it does. Research gives us facts today. But, as time goes by, we learn additional facts that shed new insight into what was known. The advantage of a Web site over a book is that it can be updated more quickly as new facts come to light. So we are prepared to revise documented reports as new information is found. To avoid confusion, the reports we publish will have a version number and date. As a Documented Report is updated, we will update the version number and date.

Our sister Web site, Life Before the Ruins, is our main source of documented research. We recommend to our readers to go see a larger selection of reports at Life Before the Ruins.
