Francisco Ortiz López

Francisco Ortiz López married first wife Cecilia Gaitán Espino ca. 1900

Their children:
They had three children named Espino before they were married.
1.   Son Juan Espino was born circa 1895 in Mexico; died in Alpine on March 13, 1947.
2. Daughter Marcelina Espino was born circa 1897 in Mexico.
3. Son Isabel Espino was born July 8, 1898 in Sierra Mojada, Coahuila, Mexico He married María Pando. He died of Tuberculosis in Terlingua on August 11 1934 and is buried in the Terlingua Cemetery.
4. Doroteo López, son was born circa 1901 in Terlingua de Abajo.
5. Santiaga López, daughter was born circa 1903 Terlingua de Abajo.
6. Juan Espino López was born on March 30th 1905 in Terlingua de Abajo.  He died on May 6. 1991 at age 86.
       Juan married María Estrada Huerta on March 26, 1924 in Terlingua de Abajo.
                              María's parents were Ramón Donato Valles Huerta and Silvestra Estrada .
                              María was born September 26, 1906 in San Carlos, Chihuahua, Mexico.
                               María died September 26, 1995.
        Both are buried in Artesia, New Mexico.
        Juan and María had eight children.

Their children included:
1. Pascual
López
        note: Pascual had a son named Frank

They lived in Terlingua de Abajo, then later in the Terlingua-Study Butte area.
