Dear Mr. Franco, I am so happy to have seen the research FdT has done on my Briceño/Santiago family! Fantastic job! I can offer some information:
My father is: Sostenes Santiago Born 1944 (Van Horn, TX)-still alive and a strong Notre Dame supporter :0)
His parents are: Antonio Santiago and Guadalupe Briceño
Could you offer any information regarding my great grand parents.
Your site shows that Antonio Santiago's parents were Sostenes Santiago and (H)Ildifonsa Peres.
Family Search lists this couple coming from Jerez Zacatecas and baptizing: Juan (1882), Apolonio (1886), Estefana (1887).
Have you found any records that link the 1920 U.S. Census family of Ildifonsa Peres with Sostenes Santiago?
Any baptismal records along the border for Antonio (1898), Pascuala (1897), Maria (1900) or Rosa (1905)?
Do you know where Ildifonsa Peres is buried? I think she passed away between 1930 and 1940, but I can't find any records.
Best regards,
Karina Santiago
