This is the Death Certificate and a document with the information from the death certificate for someone identified only as "Mrs. CE Thain."
It is possible that she was the wife of the Carl Thain who worked at the Terlingua mines. As there were multiple mining companies as well as multiple mines it would be helpful to know which mine or mines Carl worked at. If you have information on the Thain family send it to us here. |

This is a Carl Thain listed in the 1920 Census. This Carl Thain was born in 1919 in Oklahoma, and would have been in his 20's as the mining industry in Terlingua was winding down. Could it be it was his father who worked maintaining Terlingua mining equipment?
