Gregorio and Trinidad had 5 children:

1.) Consuelo "Connie;" her married name is Jáquez
        born 18 Aug 1943 in Brewster County;
        In Jul 1998 she was living in Pecos.

2.) Gregorio Jr.
        born 18 Sep 1944 in Pecos County.
        have two girls, both live in Austin.
                1. Lorraine; Lori is not married.
                2. Lisa married Charles Robert Stephens and have a boy.
3.) Samuel
        born May 14th 1948 in Fort Stockton
        Married Alicia; they live in Houston Texas.
        Have one son Isaac

4.) Amparo; her married name is Alamendárez
        born 12 Mar 1954 in Pecos County;
        living in Fort Stockton in Jul 1998.

5.) Daniel was living in Fort Stockton in Jul 1998

Obituary for Gregorio Y. Chavarría

Gregorio Y. Chavarría, 86, of Fort Stockton, died Jan. 12, 2005 at his residence.  A Prayer Service was held at 7 p.m., Jan. 14, at the Church of Christ with Rev. Harold Durham officiating. Burial was in East Hill Cemetery in Fort Stockton.

He was born Nov. 27, 1918, in Terlingua [La Coyota] to Juan and Cleotilde Chavarría.
He married his late wife, Trinidad Garcia on Aug. 18, 1942, in Alpine.


Chavarría was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and one sister, Mauricia García.

Survivors include three sons, Greg Chavarría of Austin, Samuel Chavarría of Houston, Daniel Chavarría of Fort Stockton; two daughters, Consuelo Jáquez of Pecos, Amparo Almendárez of Fort Stockton; three brothers, Flavio, Ricardo and Felipe Chavarría of Fort Stockton; one sister, Anita Chavarría Gonzalez of Fort Stockton; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.


Memorial Funeral Home of Fort Stockton was in charge of arrangements.
