Status Report on Getting Familias de Terlingua going.

10/4/2009

We are happy to report that we are overwhelmed with information to add to Familias de Terlingua.  But keep it coming.

We are trying to update it as quickly as we can.  Since Familias de Terlingua is new we are still experimenting with the structure to try to make it easy and intuitive to use.  As the format stabilizes it will be easier to maintain.

We have more plans to improve Familias de Terlingua but want to get the basics going first.  We will be updating the pages that currently exist so come back and revisit them often as they probable have something new or different.

We have just added a poll to Familias de Terlingua which will allow us to incorporate your opinions better.

Please respond to this posting by clicking on the "Comment(s)" above right and suggest future poll questions.  Or point out errors that you have found.
Thank you

Bravo!!!!
How wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!!!

I will visit this often and send as many Terlingua familias as I know to it.
This has needed to happen for such a long time.
I applaude your effort!

Bob forgot my grandmother, Regina Villalba de Esquivel who was born Sept. 7, 1898 in Marfa, Texas and died October 15, 1993 in Santa Ana, CA.

Didn't read well enough, he indeed had shared my grandmother's DOB and DOD. She was born in Marfa, however, even though she was baptized in Ft. Davis. All of the boys were born in Ft. Davis.

Thank you for your correction. I have updated the entry. The original information I was given was also correct. It was my keying error. So your feedback is very valuable to keep the information accurate.

I heard from Petra Gonzales that y'all got some great shots of the cemetery. I would really like to include some of those in Familias de Terlingua.
