Abel's Story:
In January 1937, while working for the Chisos Mining Co., he injured a finger while working as a hand driller in Mariposa Mine. Later in life he worked for the railroad, the Alpine School System, and the City of Alpine.
Jo Ann Hinojos reports that he was grounds keeper at Kokernot Field for a long period of time.
