Recuerdos:
"I didn't understand as a child having to go every Sunday after church to Terlingua. My father made that trip to go check on his grandmother and take her any groceries she might need. Now I miss those trips from Alpine to Chisos. I love to go back every chance I have. I love listening to the stories of Chisos.
"My tío Santiago is the only sibling still alive, he tells great stories. Tía Guillerma is still alive and also tells great stories. I know that I should make time to get with my tío & tías, so that I can jot down all these memories of Terlingua." Lori Franco
