Luisa Blanco Cobos, 84, born February 25, 1926, In Fort Stockton, Texas passed away Monday, December 6, 2010 in Odessa, Texas.  A vigil prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 10, 2010 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Marfa, Texas. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Marfa Texas. Internment will follow at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery with Father Rolando Fonseca officiating.

Luisa was preceded in death by:
husband: Macario Franco Cobos,
parents: Pablo Blanco Sr. and Virginia Blanco,
son: Samuel Cobos,
daughter: Virginia Cobos,
sisters: Inez Blanco,
                Concepcion "Concha" Garcia and
                Leonor L. Blanco,
brothers: Alberto Blanco and Pablo Blanco Jr.

             Edward Cobos of Marfa, Texas,
daughter: Barbara Cobos of El Paso, Texas,
brother: Thomas Blanco of Marfa, Texas,
sisters: Esperanza Franco of Odessa, Texas,
               Anita B. Subia of Fort Stockton, Texas, and
               Gloria B. Garrison of Fort Stockton, Texas,
16-Granchildren, 16-Great-grandchildren, 3-Great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Fort Stockton.
