Juan Peña married Mauricia Cano-Durán-Lugo on May 7, 1888

Their ten children:
 1. Cruz Peña, born September 1890,

 3. Manuel Peña, born June 1895,

Martín Peña

 5.  Bonefacio (Bone) Peña, born 1900,
       was accidentally killed while serving in
       the US Army in Fort Bliss, Texas, prior to WW II.
 6.   María Peña, born 1902, died as a teenager

Leandra Peña, born in 1904

 
8. Asunción Peña, born 1906, died at birth

 9. Rosa Peña, born 1909, did not marry.

Teresa Peña, born 1913

Juan Peña was 28 years old and Mauricia Cano-Durán-Lugo was 17 years old when they married each other.
